Again today, I’m using the textured patterns of the Softly Stippled Sale-a-bration DSP. One side of the paper has designs and the other side features more solid colors with some texture. I again decided to use the Planted Paradise stamp set that I featured here yesterday.

This pattern is basically the Wild Wheat color, and I think it looked great with the Wild Wheat and the Old Olive leaves in my flower hanger. I stamped the pot in Cajun Craze ink — it looks very Tex-Mex or “Arizona” if that’s a style! The leaves were stamped in Old Olive and Wild Wheat (as above) – I stamped one set of the larger leaves off (2nd generation), then fussy-cut everything including the pot.

Before attaching the DSP to the the Very Vanilla layer, I stamped the flower hanger in Pecan Pie. Then, it was just a matter of layering the leaves (and popping some up) in the pot. Oh yes, I stamped the sentiment from Softly Sophisticated in Cajun Craze ink as well. (*I made 2 different samples — did you notice that there’s a sentiment on each side of the plant hanger?! In other words, stamp the words where they fit!) The DSP layer is 3-3/4″ x 5″, layered on a Very Vanilla layer, 4″ x 5-1/4″, then onto the Old Olive card base, 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″.

Inside, insert another 4″ x 5-1/4″ Very Vanilla layer. You can stamp or handwrite a sentiment inside. You can even add another couple of Wild Wheat or Old Olive leaves inside if you’d like!
