Well, I planned to have a tutorial for everyone today, but I discovered that my planned tutorial was NOT the best way to use the stamp set and die!  I bought the Wonderfall stamp set and the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  The Autumn Accents die is a die with 4 fall leaves and an acorn — it’s beautiful!  The maple leaf may be symmetrical, but the other leaves are not, so it’s important to line up the stamps.

Step Number 2: Stamp your leaf image onto the Stamp-a-ma-jig plastic sheet.  (As you can see, my SAMJ gets lots of use.  There are certain wood stamps that I use all the time so these are stamped with Black Staz-On on the absolutely clear side of the sheet — the other sheet that has a bit of “texture” to it is the side that I use with my classic inks that I remove in between uses).  Anyway, I’ve stamped the image on the sheet and then I place my cut-out leaf BACK INTO the stencil.  This way, the leaf isn’t going to move and I have the inked stamp heading right where I want it too!

Step Number 3:  Here you see that I just finished perfectly stamping the leaf.  By keeping it in the stencil but cutting it out first, it doesn’t slide around so it sees the ink EXACTLY where I want it too!

Here’s my finished card.  It’s heading out in the mail this morning since I participated in a swap.  This particular swap was to use the colors More Mustard (my card base and one of the leaves), Tangerine Tango or Pumpkin Pie (I chose Pumpkin Pie — for my large oak leaf), and Chocolate Chip or Early Espresso (I chose Early Espresso for my Core’dinations Card Stock mat, as well as for my maple leaf — the acorn was stamped using a combination of Early Espresso and Chocolate Chip so I used markers to color the stamp).  I used the Tiny Tags stamp set for my little sentiment hanging on the Baker’s Twine, and the Bronze Button was the perfect ending accent!
