I’ve been featuring the Take Your Pick tool from Stampin’ Up! on my website all week.  What a fabulous tool!!  It scores, it picks up sequins and jewels, and picks up glue dots, all in several different ends of the tool.  Here’s a picture of thee tool:
Do you see all of the ends?  They pop in and out of the ends with a simple twist-and-lock mechanism.  Wow!!
Here’s a Halloween card that I received it in a swap last week, made by Shannon Criado.  I LOVE this card and I know my class ladies love the “looks complicated but SO easy” fancy fold! There are a few elements on this card that could be made with this fun and useful tool including the scoring tip and the putty tip to place the sequins.

Here’s the recipe:

  • Basic Black c/s, 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″
  • Lemon Lime Twist c/s 4″ x 5 1/4″, scored every 3/8″ or embossed with the Simple Stripes folder and the Big Shot
  • Basic Black c/s, 8″ x 3″, scored at 4″
  • Whisper White c/s, 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
  • Best Route DSP 2 3/4″ x 4″
  • Gray Granite c/s for image mat, 2 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
  • Whisper White Stitched Oval(I think the 2nd largest), cut with Big Shot, stamped with cat from Trick or Tweet stamp set and colored in with markers or blends
  • Whisper White scrap for sentiment, 2″ x 1″, stamped with sentiment.
  • Finish off the card with Lemon Lime Twist Ruffled Ribbon and Black sequins!

Enjoy!  (See my supply list below).
