My son had to get creative in his request for a date for the prom so I decided to help him.  He rolled his eyes as I got to work, but in the end, loved my idea!

This is the same basket that we made for my 3D Easter Treats class this week but I customized it for the occasion!  Don’t you love the M&M Easter egg?!  So adorable!  Then, using the back cardboard that comes in the DSP packages, I stamped and cut out two garden picks using the Handpicked framelits and the From the Garden stamp set.  I individually mounted the letters from the Designer Type photopolymer stamp set — unfortunately that was one of the monthly releases this past year that is already sold out.  I couldn’t find a “?” so I had to hand-write it in.

(I just realized that I used a retired Little Stems sizzlet — sorry!  You can substitute the leaf from the Bird Builder Punch f you don’t have this sizzlet!)

So … the pink Easter egg holds his handwritten, “… go to Prom with me?!”  And she said … yes!!

Now I guess we have to start fitting for tuxes etc.  Oh well!  I’m excited for him!!

Have a wonderful day and … get creative!!
