One wrong button and I lost the original post that I wrote up!!

I wanted to share some cards that I made with 9 wonderful ladies in my Christmas Card class Tuesday night (# 1 of 3!).  We made 10 cards, 5 of 2 different designs!  Check them out!!

The card on the right was inspired by the Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Kit  (#133827, $17.95 for the clear stamp set and the kit!).  Since the kit makes only 8 cards, and I needed supplies to make 45, I decided to case it instead!  I think I sold a bunch of the card kit that night though!  Why not?!  So easy and cute!!  (I used the Subtles DSP stack and the Polka Dot Parade DSP instead).

The card on the left was definitely inspired by Pinterest.  If you search “Special Season”, you’ll definitely find it.  Lee Conrey from “Stampinglee Yours” was the original creator.  I needed to simplify the card so I eliminated the original gorgeous bow and didn’t put so many pearls or rhinestones on mine (I think she colored her rhinestones red to make them show up better than the clear ones did above!).

Anyway, I have to go to bed after working all night but I’ll be at work later, designing next week’s card class with the flip-it thinlits!!

P.s.  Check out these adorable puppies I acquired about 1 month ago!!  Mickey is the teddy-bear like Shihpoo and Minnie is the bundle-of-cuteness Yorkichon.  They’re getting a haircut (their first!) this afternoon!  I hope they stay cute!!  By the way, I’m using them as my excuse for not blogging lately — they’re a handful!!

Have a wonderful day!!  Get in your craft room and create!! Share that passion!!!
