Hi everyone! I’m a little behind the 8-ball this week. I just got back from a wonderful couple of days with some dear neighbor friends of ours up in Ossipee Lake, NH! What a great time: great views, kayaking, sitting by the campfire at night, tubing… check out a couple of the photos!

Anywho, welcome back to my blog! Today’s Blogger’s Challenge was to create a birthday card. Since I’m in love with the new Sunny Garden DSP, I created a card using the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set and that bea-u-ti-ful paper!!

Don’t you just love the bright new Poppy Parade paper? IRL, this is quite bright and festive! My 3 faves in one DSP pack: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Peach Parfait! I think the card is self-explanatory — 2 coordinating pieces of the DSP, mounted on a Daffodil Delight card base, “wrapped up” with the luscious Daffodil Delight satin ribbon, mounted on an Old Olive scrap. I used the ticket corner punch and some gold brads to add a little “pizzazz”! The cupcake and “wrapper” were colored in using the Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight ink pads with a blender pen.

Don’t forget!! Sunday is my Open House if you live anywhere close to Boston and can make it! It’s also TAX-FREE WEEKEND in Massachusetts this Saturday and Sunday!! Click here to connect to my online store if there’s anything on your wishlist (like this wonderful DSP! Hint, hint…!) It’s also a great time to get a Big Shot and save on the tax too!

Thanks for visiting!
