I Figured It Out!! Wonderfall is Wonderful!!

Well, I planned to have a tutorial for everyone today, but I discovered that my planned tutorial was NOT the best way to use the stamp set and die!  I bought the Wonderfall stamp set and the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  The Autumn Accents die is a die with 4 fall leaves and an acorn -- it's beautiful!  The maple leaf may be symmetrical, but the other leaves are not, so it's important to line up the stamps.I had already tried perfectly positioning the leaves and then hoping for the...

A “Tail” of Two Cats!

I've been very tied up these past few weeks, preparing for the new school year with 2(!) teenagers in high school now!  On top of that, I just finished painting my daughter's room for her birthday present!  Now, this week, my family came from NY and Virginia to visit and celebrate Lyndsey's 17th BD, and we tore up all of our wall-to-wall carpet upstairs!  The good news is that there was hardwood underneath, in very good condition!  These reasons all add up to not a lot of...

The Case to the Holiday Catalog Ornament!

I always thought that I would grow up to write a book someday ... the title of my post today sounds like a mystery waiting to be solved! It's so wonderful to get together with my wonderful friends, many who can't make it to classes, to visit and talk Stampin' Up!I managed to get several samples done, most notably for my card classes for the next 6-8 weeks! Yay!! It feels so good to be that far ahead of the game! This spring, I barely got the...

Pennants and Pinwheels!

I wanted to design a fun class for my ladies using an adorable swap card I recently received through SSUS from Laura Lipe. Laura used the Floral District paper to make a fabulous pinwheel card that my ladies all ooohed and aaahed over! Well, one thing led to another and I decided that "Pennants and Pinwheels" was an extremely catchy and fun class title! So ... I had no problem coming up with pinwheels (and I still have oodles of ideas!). The trouble was that I didn't know what to do for the...
