For ideas, inspiration and tutorialsHappy Valentine’s Day!
I made a few cards for a friend this week using the fabulous Painted with Love Specialty Designer Paper. The paper practically can stand alone as a card as it's SO beautiful!! Still, I had fun designing these cards!!Isn't the paper so pretty?! Which one is your favorite?!This card is almost completely Berry Burst. The cardstock base is Berry Burst, the banner is Berry Burst ink, and I even embossed the heart/sentiment with Berry Burst ink. Did you know you could...
A Break from the Holiday Cards!
I've been busy prepping and teaching all of my holiday card classes, but had a chance to make a birthday card for a dear friend of mine (that also happens to be my upline at Stampin' Up!). She's a very talented indoor gardener, so I know the Orchid stamp set definietely appealed to her!! I took a couple of minutes to make this card for her!! In real life, this is very pretty. The card base is Fresh Fig, one of my favorite new In Colors from this past summer's release. ...
Holiday Extravaganza Begins Today, Nov. 20th!
Today is the kickoff day for Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Extravaganza so I decided to create a card using one of the stamp sets that's 20% off today only!Using Remarkable You, I made a super-quick card with just 3 layers and a couple of embellishments! Since I'm working overnight again tonight and don't usually create in the middle of a nursing stretch, I'm really excited about how easy the card was, but still looks quite beautiful! I used the new Stampin' Blends to color the image after...
July’s Birthday Card Club Class
I had fun designing this month's birthday card class!! Every month I have a special class dedicated just to birthdays. We make 4 birthday cards -- 1 masculine, 1 kid's card, and 2 more feminine cards. We have cupcakes, and if it's someone's birthday in the class, they get a special $5.00 coupon as well! Here are tonight's cards:I have to say that the card on the left is NOT my own. A fellow team member received it in a swap and shared it with me -- love at first sight! I...
A Summer Sampler Frame
When I was cleaning out my craft room this past winter, I came across a winter sampler frame I had made a few years ago. The frame was super easy: (9) 3" x 3" squares, pleasantly combined and mounted on bigger mats in a 12" x 12" frame. Since that time, I made a Valentine frame, and a spring frame and had requests for a summer sampler frame.I used only current stamp sets -- I think you can click on the picture to enlarge it. Check out my supply list below for the list of stamp sets...
