My Product Spotlight for this week on my FB page, Jeanne Nielsen The Card Lady is designer paper.  I know that I love the paper in the Occasions catalog, and I also love the paper in the Annual Catalog.  Neither of them will carry over next year I'm pretty sure. I'm absolutely in love with this card!!  This was a card that was shared with me at my Leadership event in Lansing Michigan last month (with Ronda Wade). I apologize that the lighting isn't better to truly show off this card.  I started with a 4 1/4" x 11" Whisper White thick c/s card base, scored at 5 1/2".  I then cut a layer of regular-weight Whisper White c/s at 4" x 5 1/4", embossing it with the Big Shot and the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.  Attach this layer to...

Today I did a FB live, making this lovely card.  I'm afraid the LIVE didn't go as smoothly as when I practiced earlier in the day.  I was a bit scattered, so I thought I'd share the card and directions here for this particular card.The card base is Calypso Coral, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".  Attach the 3 3/4" x 5" chosen designer paper to a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White cardstock (c/s).  Tie a bow from a length of Call Me Clover ribbon around these 2 layers,...

I have to admit that I wasn't a big fan of this stamp set at first.  It's a Sale-a-bration stamp set, and I had it right from the beginning, but this is my first card actually using the stamp set!I think I had put off using the stamp set because I felt I had to color in the flowers -- that's a lot of coloring LOL!  Well, I actually DID color in all of the flowers -- the whites of the flowers are colored with Wink of Stella, and I'm a huge fan of that look!  If you zoom in on the...
