Mosaic Moods Cards – Take One!

I just love the colors on the card I created here today.  This project is one of 3 that features the Mosaic Moods specialty paper.  What I do NOT feature is the stamp set, showing you that it is so versatile even if you don't have the stamps. This card is similar to a card I received in a swap at On Stage in April -- the card was part of a Fancy Fold/Fancy card.  It doesn't have any special folds, but the technique is quite fun and unique I think. The paper has two sides - a...

Daisy Lane for the beginner, casual and avid stamper!

Stampin' Up! has determined that there are 3 types of crafters, or stampers out there.  The first is the beginner stamper, the one that may or may not do any stamping at home.  I did a quick and easy carder the beginner stamper:As you can see on this card, it is just one layer -- stamped with just 2 colors of ink and 3 stamps total.  So easy! This next card is good for the casual stamper, the one that has a few supplies at home, but otherwise just dabbles in stamping:This card is...

Lovely as a Tree!

I shared this card on my Facebook Live last week where I used Lovely as a Tree.  As I explained on the Live, I started out by stamping the fisherman from Best Catch in Memento ink onto the center of the Very Vanilla c/s layer.  I didn't know where the card was headed from there.  From there, I colored my tree stamp with a Garden Green and Soft Suede marker and stamped it to the upper left of the fisherman. The water looks very real, doesn't it?  I wish I had colored...

Welcome Little One!

I had so much fun making this card!  I've spent the last few weeks creating cards using bundles, stamp sets, punches and framelits that are going away.Unfortunately the wood crate framelits are one of those products I'm sad to see them go.  Doesn't this Momma Roo look so proud?!  She's sporting the latest pouch for her wee little koala!  I stamped Momma on Sahara Sand c/s in Memento Ink, then colored her in with the Light Crumb Cake blend.  Baby Koala is colored in...

Going for a Bike Ride!

I wanted to share another cute stamp set that is retiring this week!  I realized when I prepared for Tuesday night's card class that I have hardly ever used the Bike Ride stamp set with matching framelits.  Can you believe that it's going away without hardly seeing any ink?!I made this cute card, essentially copying the sample in the 2018-19 Annual Catalog.  I changed it up a bit by making a banner (since Thoughtful Banners stamp set and the Bunch of Banners framelits are...
