Welcome to my Stamping Blog
For ideas, inspiration and tutorialsJune means … Peonies!
When I think of June, I think of warm summer nights, beach days, ... and flowers! I specifically equate peonies with June, don't you?! I had fun with this new bundle from Stampin' Up! I made several cards that I'll be sharing over the next few days. This particular card is very easy to make. I had a thick whisper white card base that I stamped with one of the floral images from the Prized Peony stamp set (the one without the stem). Because...
“Black Tie” Flourishing Phrases Card!
It's time to say goodbye to another favorite stamp set of mine. As I said in my Facebook Live last night, sometimes you don't realize how good it is until they're "taking it away"! The Flourishing Phrases stamp set with the matching Flourish dies are going to retire on June 2nd, 2020. It's a sad time indeed! It was well received, so check it out on FB if you have a minute! In the meantime, I thought I'd share one of the cards I featured: "Little Ladybug Does The Hinge Step!" No, the ladybugs aren't actually dancing ... although I think they could if they tried! Instead, I chose the Happy Birthday sentiment....
Purple Poppies!
One afternoon, a week or two ago, I had time to play in my stamping studio. Yes, I had fun, and no, I had no idea what I wanted to do! I decided to create a sampler ... a variety of squares using the Peaceful Poppies DSP and the 2 Poppies bundles in Stampin' Up!'s Spring Mini Catalog. I am SO happy with how it turned out and thought I'd share it with you.The Poppy DSP is a variety of colors: greens, reds (of course Poppy Parade!), blues (pool party), but also a lot of purples....
