Maybe this never happened to you … or maybe, just like me, you have a picture in your mind, and the card you created turns out NOTHING like you pictured! Well, enter evidence # 1 !!!
Today’s card uses the Up, Up and Away (Hot Air Balloon) stamp set and the Peekaboo Frames. I used the Peekaboo Frames die for Christmas with my Advent Calendar, but for nothing after that. I knew I wanted to do something with it, and had a picture of a long card in mind … didn’t work! Changed to a regular-sized card but up and down … didn’t work! Finally decided on this layout but ended up changing my “rolling hills” Designer Paper twice! Thought about changing my “balloons” once but they were really stuck there!
Here you can see a close-up view of the balloons:
Stamps: Up, Up and Away, Take It to Heart (banner), Loving Thoughts (sentiment in banner), P.S. I Love You (sentiments in the Peekaboo Frames {2}).
Paper: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Regal Rose, Pool Party c/s; Everyday Enchantment (Sale-a-bration DSP).
Tools: Big Shot and Peekaboo Frames Die, Stamp-a-ma-jig (you don’t really think I’d go to all this trouble and not line something up, did you?!).
That’s all for today! I need to clean up my stampin’ space before tonight’s Technique Club! We’re featuring “Date Night” — primping for a date with “bleaching” (yep, I’m stretching it!), and the Kissing Technique! Perfect for Valentine’s Day! I’ll share my samples tomorrow!

Hi Jeannie — despite all your starts and stops, this card turned out really nice. I like the idea to use the Peekaboo frames. I never would have thought. Great! Love the card. Nice talking with you today in "chat." Hope to talk again soon — but I'll be looking at your blog from now on. Hugs.
