My stampin’ students have requested masculine cards — cards to give for birthdays, anniversaries … even Father’s Day! I made a stamp-a-stack class out of the two styles of cards — 4 cards each.
Here they are!
The card on the left uses the Faith in Nature hostess stamp set. We embossed the Chocolate Chip layer using the Big Shot and the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I think the “Happy Birthday” is from the Bring on the Cake stamp set.
On the right, we stamped the flower silhouette using the Just Believe stamp set. We used black Staz-on ink for the flower, and then accented the card with the Black Satin ribbon. I think this could even make an elegant wedding card! I used the mat pack to add a “poked” accent around the bottom. (I’m sure there’s a more technical term than that but I can’t come up with it for the life of me! LOL!)
