Good Friday morning all!
It’s been so long since I’ve posted that I don’t think I’ll lack for post material for at least a couple of months! So … I’ll start backwards!
I’m part of a group called the Sensational SU Swappers (SSUS for short!) — I participated in a weekly sketch challenge and thought I’d share my creation with you very quickly.
Here’s the sketch — part of Taylored Expressions Weekly sketch challenges which look to be no more. In the meantime, I have about 150 weeks of sketches that I hope to NOW participate in/complete!
The beauty of a sketch challenge is that it gives you a starting point, but it in no way dictates how the final card will or should come out! I can use whatever stamp set I like, whatever paper, whatever color combination, and even whatever shape I’d like. The sketch should look similar to the final product, but is basically a “jumping off” point.
Stamps: Summer Silhouettes
Paper: Comfort Cafe DSP; Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Summer Starfruit c/s
Accessories: Big Shot and Paper Doily Sizzlet L, 3″ Circle Die; Chocolate Chip 1/2″ Scallop Dots Ribbon; dimensionals (or “bump it ups” as my card class members refer to them!!)
Have a wonderful rest of the day! I’ll be back tomorrow with my Father’s Day project for my dad!
