Well, a couple of days late but I’m back with my favorite card in this 3 part series featuring the Memorable Blooms bundle.

I’m going to let you decide which is your favorite — they’re both lovely! There almost exactly the same: The card on the right was my original card — I started with a Basic White thick card base and adhered the Delightful Floral yellow flowers vellum to it. The top layer is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White CS, diecut with the hexagon from the Memorable Blooms dies, then stamped and bumped up over the vellum layer.
Here is a closeup of the card on the right:

Yes, you’re right. The sentiment for the card above is from a long-retired stamp set, Welcome Easter. I added some 1/2″ White Woven Ribbon to the corner of the card. Oh yes, the small floral image in the bottom left corner of the hexagon was stamped in Memento ink and colored with Lemon Lolly and Olive Stampin’ Blends. Although they don’t show up well, I sprinkled some Iridescent Faceted Gems to the front too.
The 2nd card is very similar. Instead of a Basic White card base, the base is Lemon Lolly. The yellow from the card base “shines through” the vellum layer, this time taking showing up QUITE yellow! I diecut the leaves from Old Olive CS and colored the flowers the same. Instead of white ribbon, I added a small Daffodil Delight ribbon bow. I also sprinkled some Antique Pearls on the card front.

The sentiment for the above card is from Storybook Friends. There is also a “Happy Easter” sentiment in this stamp set.
So, the good news is that you can order this bundle to replicate these cards. The bad news is that it made the Last Chance list. So, if you want the stamp set (it’s beautiful!!), you’d better order it soon!
