I featured the Playful Ghosts stamp set on my FB live this week These little guys are so much fun to color! Although we don’t have any specific holiday paper in the new Mini Catalog, I made due! These 4 cards are made using papers from the Annual Catalog.
One of the cards is rather “regular”. No fancy folds or fancy techniques were required. The bottom left card … well, that’s a different story! I was challenged with making a shaker card. I did pretty well on the one I made off-camera!
The 2nd card, the card on the bottom right, was just scored a bit differently. On the 4-1/4″ x 11″ card base, I scored the long side at 3-1/2″ and 9″. That meant that my DSP had to be cut 3-1/4″ x 4″ and 1-1/4″ x 4″. The simplest method when cutting the DSP is to cut a piece that is 5-1/4″ x 4″ and then make one cut at 3-1/4″. Is that clear as mud?!
The top left card was “color-blocked” with designer papers. I’ll give measurements in another post tomorrow when I have better pictures to share too!
