Good Friday Crosses | Stamping with Jeannie

Hello on this Good Friday.  Thursday and Friday are the Passion Play performances at our church.  I made 2 cards as thank you’s for the Co-Directors.

These cards are case’d from Pinterest.  I used the Hardwood stamp on Soft Suede c/s, using Chocolate Chip ink.  The hardwood stamp has “sections” or strips that are 1/2″ wide, which meant my cross would be 1/2″ wide.  I’m pretty sure the height is 5″ tall, with a width on the cross of about 3 1/4″ (approximate — I honestly can’t remember and the cards are gone now!).  I stamped the sunrise from Kinda Eclectic.  The flowers were punched in either So Saffron or Cherry Cobbler, and I used retired Crumb Cake seam binding to drape over the arms of the cross.  The grass was stamped in Wild Wasabi ink using the Sheltering Tree stamp set.  Oh yes, the mat is Marina Mist behind the Whisper White top layer, which I also sponged/daubered with Marina Mist ink.  I forgot to mention that the card size is 5″ x 7″ to allow the whole cast to sign each card!

I hope you enjoyed the cards, and especially the real meaning behind Easter!  May God bless you richly as we remember His sacrifice!
