Easter Lamb | Stamping with Jeannie

Hi all!  What a gorgeous day outside today … it looks like Spring, but I’m not sure it feels it yet!!  It’s chilly out there!  The wind is tough when walking my pups!!

I want to share a closeup of the card we created the other day in my Happy Easter 2016 card class.  It features the single Easter stamp, Easter Lamb, and is just so adorable!!  This card was cased from Hélène den Breejen on Pinterest.  I decided to change it up just a bit with my DSP mat background paper color.  Then, I added just a few items from the Mini Occasions catalog that I had on hand!

I used the script side of the 2014-16 DSP stack in Lost Lagoon for my mat.  I separated my sentiment from my image when mounting my stamp to get more “bang for my buck” so to speak.  This card would be adorable as a baby card!!  The banner is 1″ x 3″ and then forked using my Honeycomb Punch.

I added a  Pool Party Glitter Ribbon knot to the end of my banner.  The flower is a die cut from the Botanical Blooms framelit collection using a scrap of Pool Party cardstock (I included the number on the supply list, but you really need only a scrap!)  It wasn’t intentional… I got a smudge on the card just as I finished which made it necessary to cover up!  The “mistake” turned out beautifully, don’t you think?!

My top layer was embossed with the Softly Falling TIEF, then the circle was cut out with my #5 circle from the Circle Framelits collection (#1 is smallest, etc.).

That’s it for today!  Come back tomorrow for another lovely Easter card!
